Cochabamba, also know as the City of Eternal Spring because of its year round pleasant climate. At an altitude of 2.5Km the air is thin and the sun is strong, giving an average daily temperature in the low 20s, but it's relatively cool at night.
This is Plaza Colon at the southern end of the Prado, an essential green lung in city, and where squadrons of parakeets make their homes in the palm trees.
